Social-dance performance
It is a project that sees a group of young elders dancing with group coreographies to electronic music tracks. The project is evolving into an actual dance company, touring in clubs, dance halls, town gatherings and festivals. For almost two years now, the authors have been taking daily lessons at a free school for elders, dancing with them and living the dance. Because in dance halls, like in rave parties, one can well observe the group dance in its most visceral dimension, as free and necessary movement like that of club dancing, disconnected but empathically synchronised at the same time.   
In the year 2011, the work will be based on an inclusive workshop, preliminary to the performative action. With the guide of Peppe, Alfredo and Luca Pucci there will be a small dance course specific to the meeting between traditional ballroom dancing steps and the rhythm of Dancity electronic music.
